Services

Practical home adaptation support, with expert guidance every step of the way.

Making the right decisions about home adaptations can feel overwhelming. Whether you are considering a ramp, grab rails, a stairlift, a wet room, exploring local authority funding, or appointing a private contractor, choosing the right solution is essential.

TECA provides independent advice and professional project management, helping individuals and families move confidently from assessment to a safe, practical, and successful outcome. We simplify the process, explain the options clearly, and coordinate the right support so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

TECA assessment method

Start with the right assessment before spending money on work.

Poorly planned home adaptations can result in unnecessary expense and ineffective outcomes. TECA takes a person-centred approach, carefully assessing the individual, the property, potential risks, and daily living requirements before recommending the most appropriate and practical solution.

  • Access into the property and movement between rooms
  • Stairs, transfers, bathrooms, toilet use and fall risks
  • Priority works, quick wins and larger project options
  • Private route, DFG-aware route or supplier coordination
